We are getting ready to help. Right now we are not taking applications. Leave your email and we will tell you the day it opens. We will not ask for anything else yet.
How it will work
When we open, you will fill out a short form. You will tell us what bill you need help with. If we can help, we pay the company you owe. We do not hand out cash. We pay the landlord, the power company, the doctor, or the shop.
Who we can help
Here is who can ask for help:
- People going through a short, hard time.
- People who need help with one of our seven kinds of bills — housing, utilities, medical, transportation, food, funeral, or an emergency.
- People whose bill can be paid straight to the company they owe.
We can give up to $2,500 to one household in a year. It is a hand up through a rough patch, not steady support.
We cannot provide assistance to members of our own board or their families. This is a rule we cannot waive.
